A few months back the band Microwave hit us up about getting help finding someone to master their new record. We got test masters from four different engineers so the band could hear different approaches of how a few mastering engineers would craft their mixes. After they heard their options they let us know which ones they liked and we connected them with John Naclerio who’s been making awesome tracks with acts like Brand New, My Chemical Romance, Knuckle Puck and more. They were able to make an informed decision that made their record better at an affordable rate. Blending a sound of post-hardcore, and strong alternative pop hooks, we think what they came up with is one of the best record of the year. Check it out in the player above as well as our podcast with the band.

A few months back the band The Wild Waiting hit us up about getting help mixing their new song. We connected them with James Wisner who’s been making awesome tracks with acts like Paramore, Dashboard Confessional, The Academy Is and Hands Like Houses. Blending a sound of dark alternative pop rock ala Against The Current or The 1975, we think they are onto something with their sound. Check out the song above!

A few months back the band Manic hit us up about getting help mixing their new song. We connected them with Eric Palmquist who’s been making awesome tracks with acts like Hunny, Bad Suns, Thrice and Mute Math. Together they crafted a pop rock track that reminds me of Acceptance, Parachute or The Spill Canvas mixed with a more modern pop-rock edge, exhibiting a well-crafted song!  Check out the song above!
