Rick King is the face behind King Sound Studio, a place to make music in the rolling hills of Western, Kentucky. As a relative newcomer, he's out to prove to the world that he's a force to be reckoned with. Knowing that his reputation hangs in the balance with every project that comes across his desk, drives him to make sure that anything that has his name on it is nothing short of incredible, no matter what it takes.

A graduate of Murray State University, Rick studied music and classical guitar, but cut his teeth out west playing bass, for his band 'Stay For The Summer." Whether it's metal, pop, punk, or rock, Rick loves anything with big drums, rippin' guitars, catchy melodies, and sweet harmonies.

Since Rick began his professional career as an engineer and producer, he's had the privilege of working with some of his favorite bands including: Hit The Lights, Thief Club, July, and FOREVERATLAST. His studio is currently in Paducah, Kentucky.
