Alex Prieto started out in the Boston music scene being mentored by legendary Producer Susan Rogers (Prince, David Byrne). Upon making the move to New York he started working for Producers David Bendeth, Dan Korneff, Alex Newport, and Kato Khandwala.

Dan Korneff hired Alex as a full time engineer when opening his new studio, Sonic Debris Studios, in Long Island, NY.

Some of the artists Alex has worked with are Pierce the Veil, The Devil Wears Prada, Motionless in White, Crown the Empire, Bloc Party, City and Colour, and Rob Caggiano (Volbeat/Anthrax) to name a few.

He was also a member of Exploding In Sound records band Grass is Green, and does FOH for Trey Spruance's (Mr. Bungle, Faith No More) avant-garde group Secret Chiefs 3.
