Jim has been working on music since he was a child playing guitar in a band with his brother. Having had the privilege at an early age to experience recording and album production from greats such as Frank Filipetti and Dann Huff, he was hooked into a future career of music making.

He started at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles in 2000 and had the honor of working with diverse musical clientele such as Bush, KoRn and Jet. He's been recording and mixing independently since then having the opportunity to work on projects for Janes Addiction, Ghost Town, KoRn, Metallica, Slipknot, The Fray and many many more.
