Stuart Richardson
Stuart Richardson is a songwriter, producer and mixer. He plays bass in NO DEVOTION and his studio is located on the Space Coast of Florida.
Richardson began working as a recording engineer in his native South Wales at the end of the '90s. Shortly after, his band lostprophets got signed to SONY/Columbia based on the EP he'd produced and their intense live shows.The years 2000-2012 were spent in that band on constant album/tour cycles that garnered No. 1 platinum albums, multiple awards, sold-out arena tours and headlining slots at major festivals across the globe.
After spending 10 years living and working in Los Angeles in various studios, he relocated to the Space Coast of Florida in 2013 to raise his family and set up a new studio where he continues to hone his songwriting, production and mixing skills across a variety of genres and working with bands including Sick Feeling, Save Your Breath and NO DEVOTION.
Through his career as an artist, Richardson has worked with producers including Dave Fridmann, Eric Valentine, Bob Rock, Alan Moulder, Ken Andrews, John Feldmann and Alex Newport.
In 2015, he completed production on "Permanence," the debut album from NO DEVOTION, which features vocalist Geoff Rickly (Thursday, United Nations) as well as members of his former band. The album, a Top 10 entry on the U.K. Rock Album chart, has since made its way onto many 2015 "Album of the Year" lists.
